Innovation at a new level – bespoke noise protection with people at the centre

At Nordic Noise Barrier Group, we develop noise protection solutions based on the unique conditions of each project. We have now completed a project in which our expertise has been applied in a completely different setting from traditional road and railway projects – around a battery station.

For this project, a noise barrier featuring aluminium cassettes and project-specific top-edge solutions was designed to effectively limit and contain noise within the screened area. By adapting the structure to the site conditions and the prevailing acoustic environment, a carefully considered solution has been created that helps reduce disruption and protect the residential environment for nearby residents.

This project is a clear example of how noise protection can be used beyond traditional applications. As new types of energy facilities and technical infrastructure solutions are established close to residential areas, the need for smart, project-specific measures to manage their impact on the surrounding environment is increasing.
